Future Narratives is the yearly research week of RITCS School of Arts in Brussels.
In 2021, the central theme of this week was the future of the audiovisual media. I visualised this in a central sphere which embodies both the camera lens and a crystal ball (like the ones fortune tellers use to predict the future).
In 2022 the central theme was ‘The New Abnormal’, resonating the general state of mind during the pandemic. I designed a variation on the sphere representing both an open gate and a cinema screen.
The sphere also serve as a frame to communicate the different lectures, webinars and movie screenings.
